The Space
Spend your evenings relaxing on the large deck while gazing at the stars, or unwind in the covered hot tub with a glass of wine. Prepare romantic dinners for two in the open-concept kitchen, or enjoy a meal cooked on the provided grill. Get cozy by a warm, crackling campfire at the outdoor gas fire pit and toast marshmallows while sipping hot chocolate.
Please note that due to the property's location, you may encounter wildlife, insects, or signs of their presence.
The chalet includes the following amenities for your enjoyment:

A full-house generator is available for backup power; however, please be aware that the double-wall ovens may not function during a power outage.
The home is located about a quarter mile from the Appalachian Trail parking area. Enjoy local eateries such as Baked Sweet, The Gathering Place, Kauffman's Chicken BBQ, and many others. You will be approximately 45 minutes from Hershey Park/Chocolate World, 1 hour from Lancaster, 45 minutes from Lititz, 1 hour from Knoebel's Amusement Park, and 70 minutes from Jim Thorpe. Additional local activities can be enjoyed at Violet Vintage Wine Company, Bouchette Vineyards, Koziar's Christmas Village, Sweet Arrow Lake, Swatara State Park, and Blue Marsh.
While there is a wood-burning stove in the home, guests are not permitted to use it. Access to the locked garage, mechanical room, and four locked storage closets in the house is not allowed.
During the winter months, we recommend using all-wheel-drive or four-wheel-drive vehicles due to potential inclement weather associated with this property's mountainous location.
