"We are home now and rested after another wonderful stay at the Marina House. Thank you so much. Please know how grateful we are for your graciousness in making this place available for us to rent year after year. I can't adequately express how much this time away means to us. As a pastor serving in two ministry contexts, life is often filled with constant demands, conversations, and responsibilities. Having a place where we can truly unplug, slow down, and simply be together as a family is an incredible gift. Over the years, the Marina House has become more than just a vacation rental for us—it has become a place of Sabbath. There is something about the quiet of the house, the peaceful surroundings, and the unhurried rhythm of spending hours in the sand and surf that allows our souls to rest. We leave feeling refreshed, renewed, and better able to return to our work and daily lives with gratitude and renewed strength. "It is nice to have a place to call “home” for our annual Dela. fishing vacation. Thanks for letting us stay at your houses. One improvement that would be nice, the basement sofa has a hard rod, making it uncomfortable for sleeping."
